Further Details

Bethany Lodge and Bethany House are specialist homes for young people with disabilities. Registered with the comission for social care inspection to provide nursing and residential care.

Founded in 1992, The Lodge is purpose built with bright spacious ground floor accommodation.

All rooms are single and are of an extremely high standard of furnishings and equipment.

Bethany House was opened in 1997, having been purpose designed and built with young disabled clients in mind. There are 15 single en-suite bedrooms. The latest aids and equipment are available with specialist furniture provided for our highly dependent clients.

On site facilities include a hydrotherapy pool, multi-sensory room (Snoezelen) and a large arts and craft room. Many outside activities are also accessed.

Bethany Lodge and Bethany house are situated on the southern coast of Kent at Dymchurch. The sea and town amanities are a short distance away over level ground, making it an ideal location for our wheelchair users.

The management of both homes place great emphasis on staff training, in order to maintain high standards of care, which has enabled the homes to achieve the award of Investor in People.
