The Shropshire Enablement Team is a community neurorehabilitation team providing advice, support and treatment to the relatives, carers and patients of those who have had an acquired brain injury, stroke or neurological condition. The team is multisdisciplinary, consisting of Clinical Neuropsychologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Rehab Assistants and a Dietitian. The current remit is to see those between the ages of 16 to 65 years with a confirmed diagnosis. Treatment and rehabilitation is provided at their community base or within the home environment as appropriate. The team liaises and works closely with social serivces, acute hospitals, other community services, voluntary organisations and employers.Services available
