Further Details

Headway South West London (HSWL) aims to provide assistance, support, information and services to people with a brain injury, their families, carers and relevant professionals working with those with brain injury. They also work to promote understanding of all aspects of brain injury.

They provide a support group and a social group, with opportunities to take part in various trips and social activities. They produce a monthly newsletter.

The support group meets on the second Tuesday of each month in the evening (from 7.30pm). From February 2012 the new venue will be:

Hillside Church,
37 Worple Road,
Wimbledon, SW19 4JZ

This will be on a temporary basis, so please call for up-to-date information.

Support Group activities vary from month to month often with a mixture of information and fun activities, and the opportunity of speaking to and sharing experiences with people who know what it can be like to struggle with the after-effects of a brain injury. Some months there is a guest speaker.
