Stanton Lodge Neurodisability Suite in Shiremoor, North Tyneside, provides long term person-centred nursing and personal care for male and female adults (aged 18+ years) with complex progressive neurological conditions i.e. Huntington's Disease, Motor Neurone Disease and Multiple sclerosis. We care for people with brain injuries and those requiring palliative care.

We provide care in spacious, modern facilities, equipped to meet the needs of clients and families. Our centre has comfortable lounges and dining rooms, with en-suite bedrooms as well as specialist baths, showers and disabled toilets. There is a kitchen area for clients and visitors to prepare drinks and snacks, and we have an easily accessible courtyard and pleasant, enclosed gardens with wheelchair access. We are located next to a Metro stop making access very easy for families.

We provide qualified nursing care and social care 24 hours a day and specialise in meeting the needs of clients with complex neurological conditions who require low, medium or high dependency care. We provide continuing, short-term and respite care.

Our team is dedicated to providing the highest standards of nursing care and to treating each client in our care as an individual. Our clients are encouraged to make choices about all aspects of life at the centre and at all times have their wishes and rights to privacy and dignity respected.

Whatever the needs of our clients, care is delivered with patience, kindness and understanding.

We accept both male and female adults aged 18 years and over, who are medically stable, with a range of conditions including, but not limited to:

Motor Neurone Disease

Spinal Injury

Acquired Brain Injury such as head injury and stroke
