Shaftesbury Court is a residential Home situated in Lowestoft Suffolk. The location has the usual mix of amenities that you would expect from a seaside town. The home can accommodate 15 younger adults with physical disabilities, with all living accommodation situated on the ground floor. All bedrooms are single occupancy with en-suite toilet and Individuals are encouraged to bring their own personal items where appropriate.
There are also communal bathrooms and toilets which can be used for assisted bathing and showering.
The Home has a main kitchen, two communal dining rooms and a large lounge.
The gardens are situated to the rear of the building, overlooking the promenade and sea, with car parking to the front of the building.
We provide 24 hour care and support, liaising with other health care professionals to meet the needs of individuals according to their personal care plan.
Individuals are encouraged to be as independent as possible and play an active part within the community.
We also have a "Friends of Shaftesbury Court" group who raise money and regularly meet with the residents and arrange activities.

There are also 4 ground floor flats attached to the front of the main building for independent tenants who have physical disabilities.
